We're excited about Spring - about the barley growing in our distillery field and the sun that's been in the sky - beautiful days leading into longer evenings and luscious sunsets. The sight of barley shoots pushing up in the field in front of the distillery anticipate the whisky we will be launching later in the year - but until then, we're taking all the grain flavour we can from our Three Grain Welsh Vodka, and mixing it here into a sparkling spritz style cocktail.

The vodka brings a grain sweetness, amplyfied by the strawberry and elderflower liqueur - but there's nothing sickly here, just fresh, Spring notes.

This is a really straightforward vodka cocktail to make at home - you may even have most of what you need., as you can swap out the elderflower liqueur for cordial, and you could use all soda water, or all Prosecco as your fizz (although it's worth splashing out on some Prosecco, especially if you'll be enjoying this for a slightly more special occasion than simply toasting the end of a hard week!) You could also use Cremant or Blanc des blancs rather than Prosecco if that's what takes your fancy! And don't be put off if you don't have a cocktail maker or any other fancy kit. You can use a jam jar with a tight fitting lid in place of a shaker, and mash your strawberry with a fork if you don't have a muddler!

So here you are - our Berry & Grain Spritz showcasing Three Grain Vodka. Enjoy, and Iechyd da!!
