How to make a Spring Blossom Collins
The Collins is one of the easiest cocktails to make - spirit (commonly gin or vodka), lemon juice and a syrup to balance out the burst of citrus with some sweetness, topped off with soda. Here, we take our Three Grain Vodka and combine it with elderflower cordial in anticipation of the elderflower coming into flower.
Ingredients (serves 1)
50ml Three Grain Vodka
25ml elderflower cordial (or 15ml elderflower and 10ml sugar syrup)
25ml fresh lemon juice
Soda water
Lemon wheel & fresh thyme sprig to garnish
Method
Add the Three Grain Vodka, elderflower cordial and lemon juice to a cocktail shaker.
Add ice and shake.
Fill a tall glass with ice then strain over the vodka mix.
Top up with soda water and garnish with the lemon wheel and thyme.
