In the Welsh Wind occasionally publishes discount codes or automatic discounts to be used in our online store and physical locations, including the distillery, but also at shows, pop up shops etc. In the Welsh Wind may also promote offers, such as 'Buy X receive Y' type offers from time to time.
When discount codes or offers are made available, in general, and where nothing is specified otherwise, the following Terms & Conditions will apply:
- purchases including alcohol cannot be made where the purchaser is under 18 under any circumstances - and no discount or offer on alcohol or based on the purchase of alcohol can be used by a person under the age of 18.
- the discounts/offers are available for UK Shipping only - contact us for overseas shipping
- no cash alternative will be available - the discount or offer only applies when product is purchased from our stores (at the distillery itself or our website www.inthewelshwind.co.uk
- the discount code must be entered before checkout is completed
- the discount code cannot be applied retrospectively
- the discount code cannot be used in conjunction with other discount codes or offers unless expressly stated
- if the discount code is stated to be time limited, by the inclusion of a date in the printed or digital material where the code is published, the code cannot be applied to purchase made after the date stated
- unless otherwise stated, our discount codes will apply to one or more of our 'standard', 70cl bottles of In the Welsh Wind and Eccentric Spirits products, as updated from time to time. As at 01/11/2023 discount codes may apply to one or more, or all of the following products: In the Welsh Wind range: In the Welsh Wind Signature Style Gin (70cl) In the Welsh Wind Palo Cortado Cask-aged Gin (70cl), In the Welsh Wind Three Grain Vodka (70cl) Eccentric Spirits range: Madam Geneva gin (70cl) Limbeck Cask Aged gin (70cl) Young Tom Gin (70cl), Pembrokeshire Pink Gin (70cl), Cardiff Dry Gin (70cl), Dewi Sant Dry Gin (70cl) Black Batch rum (70cl), Cardi Bay Vodka (70cl) - unless specifically stated to the contrary, discount codes will not apply to any of our whisky products, our merchandise, miniatures or miniature gift packs or limited edition products, including Limited Edition Cask Aged Rum and Gruvguld Independently Bottled Whisky.
- discounts will always be subject to the availability of products at any given time.
- where a 'buy X get a % discount off Y' type offer is in place, the discount will apply one for one - so the purchase of one product will attract a discount on one of the qualifying products. In some cases it may be possible to purchase more than one of the origin products to receive discount on more than 1 qualifying product. Where more than 1 qualifying product is added to the basket and only one of the original products is added, the discount will be applied to the cheapest product in the basket.
- where a 'buy X receive Y' type offer is in place, such as 'buy a bottle receive a free set of glasses', the discount will apply to the purchase of 70cl bottles only and not to miniatures. 70cl bottles must be purchased at full price - no additional discounts will apply. The offer is subject to availability of both 70cl bottles of any particular product, and also the availability of the item to be received. Where the offer involves a purchase, it is on a 'one for one' basis - so in the example above, the purchase of 1 70cl bottle equals receipt of one set of glasses. No cash alternative will be available, either generally, or in the event that either the preferred product or the free item is not available. If a separate product link has been created for the offer, the customer must use that specific link in order to benefit from the offer. If the link/product is not used, we may honour the offer at our discretion.
