In the Welsh Wind is a distillery with a difference. We are an award-winning business, producing award-winning craft gins and pioneering the first ‘grain to glass' single malt Welsh whisky for over 100 years.
We offer consultancy and R&D services to other businesses looking to launch their own spirits business. We welcome gin and premium spirits lovers into our distillery to explore the shop, to enjoy bespoke gin making experiences—and gin tastings too.
Opportunities occasionally arise to join our team – if there are any roles available currently, we’ll post them right here. customer experience assistant
Do you love offering great customer experiences, believe in premium spirits, and working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment? We’re looking for a friendly, proactive Customer Experience Assistant to be the welcoming face of our distillery.
What you’ll be doing:
- Welcoming visitors and creating a memorable distillery experience
- Driving retail sales through excellent product knowledge and service
- Hosting tastings, tours, and gin making experiences
- Supporting online orders and trade fulfilment
- Keeping the shop, bar, and visitor areas well-presented and stocked
- Assisting with bookings and customer enquiries
What we’re looking for:
- A natural people person with great communication skills
- Passion for customer service
- Confidence to host groups and lead tastings (training provided)
- Organised, proactive, and happy to get stuck into varied tasks
- Retail, hospitality, or tourism experience is a plus
