It's a moment of immense pride for us, as we stand tall among our peers, celebrating our dedication to crafting exceptional spirits that capture the essence of Wales.
The journey to this accolade has been nothing short of exhilarating. Going head-to-head with four other esteemed businesses, including Brecon Carreg and Ty Nant, we emerged victorious, a testament to the passion and hard work of our entire team. Co-owner and director, Ellen Wakelam, accepted the coveted Drinks Producer of the Year award.

The glittering ceremony, held at Swansea's iconic Brangwyn Hall on Thursday, May 9th, was a fitting tribute to the culinary prowess of Wales. It was a night of jubilation and camaraderie, as businesses and individuals alike were lauded for their contributions to the industry. In a remarkable feat, our distillery was the only business to be mentioned twice, receiving Highly Commended in the Upskilling category, recognizing our commitment to nurturing talent and fostering growth within our organization.
Since the Distilery was founded back in 2018, we have carved a niche in the Welsh spirits landscape. This was most recently demonstrated, with our first release limited edition whisky selling out in record time. We feel that the award serves as a testament to our dedication to quality and innovation, values that continue to drive us forward as we embark on the next chapter of our journey.
