We’re looking forward to opening up the distillery and welcoming back people for gin making and gin tasting experiences. We know a lot of you are excited for this too. Here is a short update on distillery opening.
Distillery opening
We’ve been glued to the Welsh Government updates waiting for news about opening up again. As the restrictions ease cautiously, we hope that it won’t be long. We still don’t have definitive guidance about when we can open up again for experiences.
We are in the same boat as many other hospitality businesses. Alcohol is an ‘essential’ item. We can sell this from our website and from our retail space (with measures in place to keep customers and staff safe), but the current situation with Wales being at Alert Level 4 means that we cannot welcome you into the building for our gin making experiences and gin tasting experiences yet.
Our bottle shop is open
Although we can’t offer gin making or gin tasting experiences at the moment, our bottle shop is open. Situated as you enter our building, we have set up a queuing system and have other measures in place to keep both visitors and staff safe if you’d like to drop by and pick up a bottle of our award-winning gin – whether our Signature Style, or something from the Eccentric Spirits range. We also have plenty of hand sanitiser available.
We are open Monday – Friday 9-5. Over the Easter weekend, our hours will change slightly and we will be open as follows:
Good Friday – OPEN – 10-4
Easter Saturday – OPEN – 10-4
Easter Sunday – CLOSED
Easter Monday – OPEN – 10-4
Back to normal on Tuesday 6th April when we will be open 9-5 as usual.
What about using Distillery Vouchers?
We know a lot of you are keen to use your distillery vouchers for a gin making experience or a gin tasting experience. We can’t wait to get you booked in. As soon as Welsh Government guidance allows, we will be sharing the news through our newsletter and on our social media platforms. You can sign up to the newsletter if you haven’t already done so, or follow us on Facebook or Instagram for the most up to date news. (We are on other platforms too, but this is where we’re most active!). Don’t worry about voucher expiry dates. We’ll be sure to accommodate everyone who hasn’t been able to visit us throughout the pandemic.
