World Gin Day is celebrated every year – rightly so. Gin has come so far, and so have we at the distillery. The last 3 or so years have been a whirlwind – and even this week we’ve been overwhelmed to win Best Gin Label in the World Gin Awards 2021, and a gold award.
With that in mind, to celebrate all things gin, we are offering a giveaway on our social media.
We’re offering a prize of a bottle of our award-winning Welsh gin – In the Welsh Wind Signature Style, 2 gin tasting vouchers (which can also be exchanged for goods should you be unable to come to the distillery), and one of our new In the Welsh Wind aprons which are only available to buy from the distillery itself.
Simply comment under our original giveaway post, which will be published on World Gin Day at 11.00 a.m. on both Facebook or Instagram with who you would bring to a gin tasting at the distillery, and then share our giveaway post to your stories, tagging @IntheWelshWind. You can enter on Facebook or Instagram. If you do both, we’ll count both entries.
While it’s not a condition of entry, you can bag a 3rd chance to win by signing up to our mailing list before midnight on 12th June 2021. You can sign up to the mailing list here. We’ll be making other offers available exclusively through the mailing list as we go forward so it’s worth making sure you get the latest news from us direct into your inbox.
Our aprons are from Cotswold Hipster – they have customised heavy duty canvas aprons with some carefully crafted leather detailing, featuring the updated In the Welsh Wind branding – more about that too as we approach World Gin Day on 12th June.
Our Gin Tasting gift vouchers to the value of £25 are your entry to a world of gin here at the distillery in a gin tasting experience. After your welcome gin and tonic, you will be introduced to 3 different gins by your host. You’ll have the opportunity to learn more about how gin is made and discover some of the secrets of gin tasting.
Finally, our Signature Style – does it need any introduction? Launched in July 2020, our award-winning gin is a smooth contemporary gin full of the flavours of Wales. Enjoy neat with ice, or with a splash of unflavoured tonic – it’s the perfect drink for the summer.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
We’d love as many of you to enter our giveaway as possible, but there can only be one winner, and we have some other terms and conditions to keep things sweet.
- You must be over 18, and resident in the UK to enter this giveaway. We cannot send the prize to anyone under the age of 18 or living outside of the UK.
- Entry for our World Gin Day giveaway is by commenting on either our Giveaway Facebook post or Giveaway Instagram post that will be posted on Saturday 5th June, and sharing to your stories, tagging @IntheWelshWind.
- You will be asked to share the name of the person you would bring with you to a gin tasting at In the Welsh Wind Distillery.
- You do not have to ‘tag’ the person you name in order to be entered into the draw
- You do not have to share the post other than to your stories (as above)
- Only one entry per person per platform (Facebook and Instagram) will be counted.
- It is not a condition of entry to sign up to our mailing list, but if you do sign up to our mailing list between 12 June 2021 and midnight on 19th June 2021, you will be granted an additional entry.
- The maximum number of entries that will be put into the draw for any one individual is 3 (one on Facebook, one on Instagram, one from signing up to the mailing list)
- Entries must be received before midnight on 19th June 2021
- We can only accept entries through these online methods, and we can’t be responsible for any technical failure that makes entry impossible
- No purchase is necessary to enter the giveaway
- There is only one prize available
- The prize is made of 2 gin tasting/£25 gift vouchers to be used at In the Welsh Wind Distillery, a bottle of Signature Style gin, and one of our In the Welsh Wind aprons.
- The vouchers will be valid for 1 year from 12 June 2021.
- Under 18s are unable to participate in the gin tasting experience
- If you are unable to attend the distillery to use the vouchers for a gin tasting, you can use the vouchers in our online shop.
- If you choose to spend the vouchers in our online shop, we are unable to provide any change if you do not spend the full value of the vouchers.
- No cash alternative is available.
- The winner will be drawn at random from all entries on Tuesday 22nd June 2021.
- The winner will be announced on our social media feeds, and will be contacted in order to obtain an address to post the prize.
- Should the winner not respond to the announcement or our attempts to contact them within 48 hours of the final attempt to contact, we will draw an alternative prizewinner, and the original winner will forfeit the prize.
- In entering the giveaway you acknowledge that we may publicly recognise you as the winner, and that we may tag you in posts relating to the giveaway
- This competition is entirely unrelated to Facebook & Instagram and Facebook and Instagram have no liability/responsibility in relation to the giveaway. by entering the giveaway you acknowledge that you have no claim against Facebook or Instagram
