Rhif Un Single Malt Welsh Whisky - In the Welsh Wind

This limited edition is our third limited release single malt Welsh whisky - and the first to use 100% Ceredigion barley, grown, malted, fermented, distilled, casked, matured and bottled in Wales.

This is the first Welsh whisky to encompass the concept of 'Tir'. We use locally grown barley, malted at our distillery site in west Wales, un-kilned to allow the grain flavour to sing through in the finished liquid.

Matured in casks carefully chosen to complement our spirit; Palo Cortado sherry, red wine and sweet sherry casks, our first 'Welsh Origin' Single Malt Welsh Whisky.

Each bottle is individually numbered and presented in a box, alongside a certificate of authenticity.

Tasting Notes: Pronounced, grain-forward, singing with fresh un-kilned barley. Grassy, un-kilned barley notes dominate, peppery spice on the palette, mouth-coating sugary sweetness hinting at galia melons and sultanas. Finishing long and savoury in contradiction.
