What actually goes on behind the doors of a small, maverick distillery on the west Wales coast?

Come behind the scenes on a free tour to discover the people, stories and ideas behind our award-winning spirits.

ON YOUR TOUR, DISCOVER…

• What makes our rare green malt whisky so unusual – step inside the malting room and find out why our team takes turns through the night to hand-turn the barley.
• Why there's an unexpected piece of equipment in the distillery – and just how much work goes into mashing one tonne of green malt by hand.
• Meredith, the still that started it all – meet our beautiful copper creation, who looks a little like a deep-sea diver.
• Bottles making waves – discover our award-winning gins, vodka and whiskies, and our newest addition Meirion, the final whisky in our trilogy of Blended Welsh Malt Whiskies.
• The spirits you won't see our name on – from sheep farmers and Vogue photographers to a visitor from Japan whose distillery tour led to the creation of an award-winning gin using Japanese botanicals.
• How it all began – hear how co-founder Ellen's 1,047-mile walk helped inspire the creation of In the Welsh Wind.

And keep an eye out for our resident red kite, who regularly circles above the distillery keeping careful watch over the barley.

STAY A WHILE

Bore Da Coffee will be popping up for the day, selling their fabulous speciality coffee and pastries. Our bar and shop will be open too, with plenty of Christmas gift inspiration and a special 24 October shop offer.

And, naturally, there'll be an opportunity to taste what we make.

Party at the Distillery starts at 6.30pm, with dinner from Pasta Boy and music from Sonic Sounds (separate ticket, £25).
