The second in our trio of Blended Welsh Malt Whiskies, we are proud to introduce Ceredig. Building on the reputation of Brychan, Ceredig sources the highest quality Welsh malts to complement our own in-house produced whisky.
In this expression we debut our green malt whisky outside of a single malt for the first time. Showcasing the true taste of our Ceredigion fields; the raw green barley notes are prevalent but balanced beautifully with kilned barley whisky aged in ex-bourbon and port barrels.
Blended here at the distillery, this edition draws on the spirit of Ceredig, the lobster man, unloading his wares at New Quay. Each drop carries a sense of passage: rich, seasoned, and quietly transformed over time, brought together like treasured cargoes of days gone by.

Tasting Notes: Red berries, vanilla, custard, oaked red wine. Finishing with long savoury notes of cut grass and raw grain - a whisky with an interesting, mellow character.

An exceptional whisky with an incredible flavour
I have not tried CEREDIG yet but I’m sure if it any thing like the other whisky I purchased Brychan it will be very good

Fantastic bottle, speedy delivery, no issues, I'm just gutted I didn't get my hands on the first two releases!
I think this is one of the three loveliest blends I have ever enjoyed. No, I am not going to name the other two! Nor am I going to apply taste and aroma comparisons to vegetables, fruits, spices, herbs and even more unlikely comestibles. I never quite "get" them. I poured it, nosed it, tasted and drank it and it is entirely delicious. Added a single ice cube to my second glass and I think that enhanced it. However, that might have simply been because it made it last longer! Congratulations to your blenders.
