Join us for a unique gin making experience at In the Welsh Wind Distillery and immerse yourself in bespoke gin. Become the distiller and discover your style of gin and flavour profile. The In The Welsh Wind Distillery Gin Making Experience lasts for approximately two hours. During this time you’ll have access to the distillery, the use of one of our test stills, and an opportunity to create your very own signature gin.

Go behind the scenes at a Welsh distillery

Discover how we make our spirits, meet the stills and explore the craft behind our award-winning Welsh gin, whisky and other spirits.

Ever wondered what really happens inside a distillery?

Join us at In the Welsh Wind in Tan-y-groes, near Cardigan, for a behind-the-scenes look at our working distillery.

One of our team will guide you around the distillery, sharing the stories, ingredients and processes behind the spirits we make here in West Wales.

You'll visit our gin lab and whisky room, see our equipment, take a look into our botanical room and learn more about the craft of distilling.

And, of course, there's a chance to sample some of the spirits in our shop at the end of the tour.

It's a great introduction to In the Welsh Wind if you're visiting for the first time, and at around 30-45 minutes it's an easy experience to fit into a day exploring Ceredigion and the Cardigan area.

Our Gin Tasting Experience includes a welcome G&T, three Welsh craft gins, a guided distillery tour and a second G&T.

Make your own gin
Our Gin Making Experience is a hands-on two-hour experience where you create your own botanical recipe, distil your own gin and take home a 70cl bottle of your creation.
