We’ve considered every detail; from locally grown barley and water from our borehole on-site to the distilling and maturation of whisky in our cask house.

Our Single Malt Welsh Whisky is crafted using only the finest Welsh ingredients, pioneering the way for all-Welsh whisky production.

From grain to glass, we’re on a mission to create something that’s truly Welsh in both name and nature, from the locally sourced water to the barley that we’re growing onsite and in fields within 10 miles of the distiller.

How is In the Welsh Wind’s premium Welsh whisky best served?

For our Welsh Origin Whisky Casks, you will have to wait at least three years to try your whisky, but once you have it, it’s entirely up to you.

Depending on the maturation process and how you choose to season your Single Malt Welsh Whisky, you may prefer to enjoy it neat, on the rocks, or with your favourite mixer – the choice is yours!

When will In the Welsh Wind’s Single Malt Welsh Whisky be available to purchase?

Our Welsh Origin Whisky Casks are currently available to order and will take a minimum of three years to mature, depending on the size of your cask.

We also plan to release bottled Single Malt Welsh Whisky – we are currently aiming to release our first bottled Welsh whisky in 2025.
